Recently we put a lot of work on the Timeline. After collecting dozens of feedbacks, iterating, iterating, and iterating, I present to you everything that changes.
Months of work are coming to fruition, we are very proud of the results 😊
Goal #: See more projects and improve readability
We merged the Table and the Timeline, made the lines more visible, allowed you to display the attributes you want to see...
And you can switch to full screen for better reading
Goal #2: Better detect critical paths
To do this, we first allow you to “expand” the project in order to display its milestones while remaining on the project timeline. It avoids skipping over each one of them..
And we show you the dependencies!
Goal #: Export the timeline!
The most requested feature in the entire history of AirSaas: the PNG export of the timeline. Some want it to add it to their PPT, others to store it in a drive, others to display it in their office...
Wait for it!
Not bad isn't it?
But that's not all, we've also improved navigation a lot with:
- the “adjust to the screen” to automatically show all selected projects in the current view
- a better zoom granularity
- the addition of the week time scale
- the (optional) display of projects without dates... so as not to forget them :)
